origami...

i've always liked origami. when i was little i had a book with simple origami techniques and i remember trying to fold up the shapes. still today i like folding origami and i'm amazed by what can be done with a small paper square.

on nadelspiel.de i found a pattern for an origami star which is actually supposed to be an oven mitten. elisabeth (elizza) turned it into a baby hat though. the video tutorial is easy to follow and although it seemed a bit complicated when i first looked at the pictures it's not as the star basically folds itself while crochetting.

the yarn is lana grossa elastico.

origami hat mich immer fasziniert. als ich klein war hatte ich ein buch mit simplen origami formen und ich erinnere mich, dass ich immer wieder versuchte, die verschiedenen formen zu falten. auch heute noch mag ich origami und bin immer wieder fasziniert, was man aus einem kleinen papier quandrat falten kann.

auf nadelspiel.com habe ich eine anleitung für einen origami stern gefunden. eigentlich ist es anscheinend ein topflappen aber ich denke nicht, dass sich der stern dafür eignet. elisabeth (elizza) häkelte daraus eine baby mütze. die videoanleitung ist einfach und gut verständlich. am anfang schien es kompliziert aber der stern faltet sich während des häkelns praktisch von selbst. irgendwie kitschig aber auch süss:-)
