tools and inspiration...

wow i've been off blogging for quite some time and although i keep checking my fav blogs every day i just don't seem to get around to show off anything myself. i thus decided this must change now! 

last week i had a dentist appointment as as i was early i had a look around a nice little yarn store around the corner. i found a very nice magazine by filati. there are some very nice patterns.

i particularly like the childrens' patterns plus the navy/white striped dress.

plus, i finally got something i've been wanting for such a long time!! it's a swift and a yarn all winder which i've seen on many blogs and youtube videos so far. i've always tried to wind nice balls myself but they always resulted in fairly dodgy potato like things which made knitting rather difficult. plus, i prefer balls which unwind the yarn form the middle. i ordered the swift and the ball winder here and i can't wait to try it out next week - hope i can show off some nice balls soon!!

ui ich war so lange weg vom fenster, dabei blogge ich so gerne. obwohl ich jeden tag meine lieblingsblogs anschaue, fehlt mir oft die zeit um selber etwas neues zu zeigen. das soll sich nun endlich wieder ändern! 


letzte woche war ich beim zahnarzt und weil ich zu früh war, konnte ich noch kurz durch den kleinen woll laden um die ecke stöbern. dabei habe ich das filati home magazin gefunden. darin sind ein paar wirklich tolle strickanleitungen, an die ich mich noch wagen möchte. insbesondere die kindersachen und das blau-weiss gestreifte kleid haben es mir angetan. 


ein weiteres highlight der letzten woche waren der wollwickler und die wollhaspel, die per post von hier zu mir gekommen sind. das aufwickeln von hand habe ich einfach gar nicht im griff und ich freue mich schon den wollwickler kommende woche auszuprobieren!
