hat and mittens...

just when the winter season is almost done, i finished a hat and a pair of mittens. the pattern of the hat is my own and as such surely not super wow. it turned out nicely though and i love wearing it. 

the yarn is alpaca bought in strasbourg at la droguerie. (what an amazing shop by the way!) i love the colour and it is so soft! next time i have to get some more yarn as i definitely bought far too little!

the mittens are bella's mittens found on ravelry. this was the first ever knitting project knitted not with a circle needle but with double pointed ones and using a cable pattern. they are so cozy and the pattern was surprisingly easy and quick! these won't be my last bella's mittens for sure!

nun da der winter schon fast vorbei ist, habe ich eine mütze und ein paar handschuhe fertig gestellt. die mütze habe ich nach einem eigenen muster gestrickt, nichts wahnsinniges aber sie trägt sich sehr angenehm und hält wunderbar warm. die wolle ist eine alpaca, die ich in strassburg bei la droguerie gekauft habe. sie ist wunderbar weich und die farbe gefällt mir sehr. ich werde mich beim nächsten mal sicherlich wieder damit eindecken, da ich eigentlich viel zu wenig gekauft habe davon. 

die handschuhe sind nach dem muster bella's mittens gestrickt, das ich auf ravelry gefunden habe. es war mein erstes strickprojekt, das ich auf einem nadelspiel gestrickt habe und dazu noch mit einem kabelmuster. anders als erwartet, war das muster sehr einfach und die handschuhe auch sehr schnell fertig. da mein erster versuch noch nicht ganz fehlerfrei wurde, werde ich sie sicher nochmals in einer anderen farbe stricken.
